Elementary School / Middle School / High School / College

 

For Students in every grade, from elementary school through college, there are fun activities, special projects and all sorts of information available to help you learn more about what Aerospace is, why it is so important to the State of Maryland, and how you can be part of this excitement at any age. You can learn about Air and Space programs run by NASA and the Military, find out about all of the cool stuff that you can be part of. You might be surprised to learn that being part of the space business uses many of the skills you learn everyday while growing up and attending school.

There are many links on this website that can help you learn more about Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, and how these subjects are important no matter what you want to do when you grow up. You can look at the student pages for more information, but be sure to also look at many of the other pages on this web site that contain lots of information about Aerospace, including information about rockets and satellites, the Space Shuttle, the International Space Station, and travel to the moon and other planets.

For Elementary School Students, there arelots of fun links and information to learn about what Aerospace, aviation and space exploration is. We have cool web links to help you learn different things that will help you in school and will prepare you for Middle School and High School.

For Middle School Students, there arealsolots of fun links and even more information to learn about Aerospace, aviation and space exploration. Many of these links will that will help you in school and will prepare you for High School and even get you started toward preparing for College.

For High School Students we have included additional information that can give you even more learning experiences. We have also provided links for information on really cool internships and other programs outside of school. There are lots of organizations in Maryland that want you to know more about Aerospace, and to help you succeed in your preparation for vocational training or college. We want to give you all of the tools we can to help you find rewarding and challenging jobs in the Aerospace industry. There are links to give you information on internships–many that can lead to college tuition assistance and scholarships. We have also provided you a list of colleges in Maryland–many that can prepare you for a very rewarding career in this exciting business.

College Students interested in pursuing careers in the Aerospace industry will also find a lot of information here as well. There are many opportunities in Maryland in a variety of fields related to Aerospace, and the resources here are intended to inform you of what internship and career opportunities exist in Aerospace. Many of the industry partners listed on this website are committed to providing you with resources and other assistance to help prepare you for a challenging career in the industry right here in Maryland. You should also know that while you might think that to work in the Aerospace industry you need to be a scientist or engineer, we also need accountants, personnel and human resources specialists, and people with business administration and management backgrounds. The sky (and the stars) really is the limit in Aerospace!
